The challenge

Network Rail wanted to create an engaging animation to showcase the Diversity & Inclusion Strategy in the Anglia route.

They were keen to encourage all staff within the route to embrace diversity and understand the benefits of inclusion to their own wellbeing and that of the business.


The solution

Eleven delivered a 3-minute animation, featuring a voice-over, music and burnt in subtitles. The script and style frame included some more light-hearted visuals to keep viewers interested and included subtle references to the diversity of the workforce. 

This was achieved by visualising one member of staff wearing a hearing aid, as well as of course a good balance of those from different ethnic backgrounds, of different genders, of different ages, and with different religions.

The impact

The client was delighted with the end result and commented that the animation had been well received both internally and on LinkedIn.

We also created a number of shorter clips of the full animation, to be shared on social media channels or as part of a shorter presentation to staff on a particular aspect of the strategy.
