Lancaster university graduation
Graduating from university is one of the greatest accomplishments a student will achieve in their academic career. It gives parents, grandparents and extended families the opportunity to be a part of that accomplishment and share in the celebration.
Lancaster University commissioned us to deliver a suite of graduation materials that reinforced this “Grand Day Out” experience – making their graduates feel as special as possible.
Initially we worked to develop a concept for the brochure that created the ceremonial high-end feel that the graduation ceremony warrants.
We then turned our attention to establishing a project management approach that facilitated the smooth delivery of this important project.
Our creative team took time to understand what makes the day so special.
We then captured that experience of graduation and expressed it through the creative execution and physical collateral.
We used full pages to really focus on special aspects of the ceremony, such as the university crest and mace, using the imagery to elevate the ceremonial aspect of the event.
The proactive way we approached the project first-time around meant the client had a hassle-free experience, even when last minute changes were required. And the brochures were delivered on time.
Since 2016, Eleven has been repeatedly re-commissioned to produce the graduation brochures, securing a further 3-year contract in 2019.
Quality graduation brochures delivered on time.
Our contract to create the graduation brochures renewed for another 6 years.
The graduation brochure is produced twice a year and each time we meet with the client to agree the schedule ahead of time to ensure that all stakeholders are working towards the same dates. However, when last minute changes are required, we are always able to accommodate them to ensure that the final outcome is delivered on time and to the high standard the university would expect.
We proactively manage the printer to ensure they knew exactly when to expect the artwork and where and when to deliver the programme.
In addition, we press pass the print, so that we can spot and rectify any quality issues with the print early on in the process and still deliver on time.
We organise delivery of the graduation programmes direct to the venue and remain in close contact with the client throughout the project, keeping them informed of progress and to reassure them that everything was on track.
